“A Child, Not a Bride” Campaign in partnership with Sayidat Suria Magazine
On January 12, 2015, Amal Center for Advocacy and Recovery, in cooperation with Sayidat Suria Magazine, launched a campaign entitled “A Child, Not a Bride” aimed at confronting the phenomenon of child marriage. The campaign sought to shed light on the health, social, and legal risks of this practice, while mobilizing the community and decision-makers to protect young girls and ensure their rights to education and growth, free from all forms of exploitation.
Campaign Objectives
- Raise public awareness of the dangers of child marriage and its harmful impact on the future of girls and society.
- Mobilize support for the adoption and enforcement of laws that protect children and prohibit early marriage.
