\n The Amal Center for Advocacy and Recovery conducted qualitative research, supported by the Euro-Mediterranean Foundation, with the aim of understanding the transformations in Syrian women\u2019s political awareness after the revolution, and how this has been reflected in their perspectives on rights and public participation.\n <\/p>\n\n
Key Findings<\/h2>\n \n - Since the revolution, there has been a qualitative shift<\/strong> in women\u2019s interest in political affairs and their pursuit of deeper awareness to understand reality.<\/li>\n
- Women were introduced to new political culture,<\/strong>Women expressed clear support for female presence in leadership and sovereign positions in society.<\/li>\n
- Women expressed clear support for female presence in leadership and sovereign positions in society.<\/li>\n
- Refugee women\u2019s focus on family law in Turkey<\/strong> and on pluralistic political life demonstrates advanced legal and political awareness.<\/li>\n <\/ul>\n\n
Recommendations<\/h2>\n \n - Develop programs and projects targeting families to reduce patriarchal and male-dominated authority and achieve greater balance in relationships.<\/li>\n
- Promote civic engagement culture among women by enabling their participation in local structures and authorities.<\/li>\n
- Reassess women\u2019s political empowerment programs in line with evolving realities.<\/li>\n
- Organize advocacy campaigns to combat violence against women and strengthen their presence in public life.<\/li>\n <\/ul>\n\n
